1930
Various similar models of this “Lamp de Travail” were made in 1930, proving especially popular as office lighting. A similar lamp forms part of the permanent exhibition of forms at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
While it can’t really be classified as a table or floor lamp at a height of 78 cm, it’s particularly suitable for low tables. Its open-topped shade is made of opal glass, which scatters a gentle light throughout the room.
As was common practice in the 1930s, the metal surfaces are alternately plated with nickel and chrome, which gives the lamp a special aura when it reflects the light.
Each lamp is numbered consecutively and bears the TECNOLUMEN signet.
Recommended illuminant: LED lamp 8 W, matt
